Mix together meats in stand mixer with dough hook. Add dry milk and ice slowly while mixing. Add spices and continue mixing. Form into greased loaf pan. Can them!* Sweet banana peppers 4 cloves of garlic 4 chili peppers 4 mason jars BRINE 6 cups white vinegar 2 cups water 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon pickling salt Dash of Mrs. Wages Kosher Dill Pickle Mix Put 1 clove of garlic and 1 chili pepper in each mason jar. Stuff remaining space in each jar with sweet banana peppers. Boil brine ingredients until all is combined. Pour brine into mason jars, leaving 1/2 inch of space at the top. Seal each mason jar and boil in water for 10 min. Stuff beans in steralized quart jars as tight as possible. Make liquid out of rest of ingredients by bringing to a boil until combined and sugar dissolved. #dandelionjelly #canning #jelly Yield: 4 - 4 ounce Jars 1 cup dandelions (yellow parts) 2 cups water Boil yellow parts of the dandelion in water for 3 minutes. Pour through strainer. Reserve 3/4 of strained liquid. 3/4 cup boiled liquid 3 teaspoons pectin 2 drops vanilla 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 1/2 cups sugar Pour boiled liquid back into pan and stir together with pectin, vanilla and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Pour in sugar and stir. Boil low/medium for 3 minutes. Pour into jars, wipe rim and cover with lid. JAM CAKE | Fruit Jam Filled Jam Cake
#jamcake #dessert #oldfashionedrecipes 2 cups sugar 1 cup butter 5 eggs 1 cup crushed pineapple 1 cup apple butter 1 cup jam 3 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon cloves 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon cocoa 1 cup nuts 1 cup buttermilk Mix sugar and butter together in mixer. Add eggs one at a time while mixing. Add in 3 fruits. Combine rest of dry ingredients and add slowly while mixing. Alternating with buttermilk. Always start with flour and end with flour. Pour mixture into 4 - 8" pans. Bake for 35 minutes at 325 degrees. ICING 2 cups brown sugar 1/3 cup white sugar 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cups cream 2 cups powdered sugar Boil first 4 ingredients for 4 minutes. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Spread fast over cake.
